Education City Education City is a great site for students to practice language arts, math, and science skills. https://ec2.educationcity.com/
Teach Your Monster to Read Teach Your Monster to Read is a free website from Usborne Books. I used this last year in tech class with the students and it was one of their favorites. Students custom design their own monster and help their monster travel through different worlds by playing various games that help build their reading skills.

Free, but requires a parent or teacher to sign up

Epic For us at school, it is free, but at home it is a small monthly payment. This source has thousands of books and educational videos that students can read online. It is nice because it offers lots of variety of genre as well as books at their current reading levels. http://www.getepic.com
Zearn Zearn is a math website that students can work through current math standards by practicing, playing games, and watching direct instruction videos. http://www.zearn.org
Sumdog Sumdog is a great math tool. Students play math games and compete against others to beat the clock by answering problems with speed and accuracy. They earn coins which can then be spent in a "store" through the website which helps students learn value of buying objects and making sure they have enough money. There are some paid parts, but the free version still offers a wide variety of games. This site is also nice because it makes the questions harder or easier based on the student's answers. http://www.sumdog.com
Moby Max Moby Max contains lessons and games across all aspects (science, social studies, sight words, math, reading, language, etc.) http://www.mobymax.com
Skoolbo Skoolbo is a fun way across the curriculum for students to learn on their own and/or work on struggling areas or areas of interest to them. https://www.skoolbo.com/login
iKnowIt I Know It is a nice quick way to tell if a student has mastered a particular standard and/or if they are struggling in certain areas. This site breaks each standard down and gives games, instruction based on that particular standard. Students who are above grade level can work ahead on the next grade level standards as well. http://www.iknowit.com
